No rate increases at IMG
December 20, 2007 - International Medical Group (IMG) announced that it will not raise rates for 2008 for its most popular "Patriot" line of international medical insurance products. Rates for 2007 remain effective until March 31, 2008. This is an unusual move in an industry that has become accustomed to frequent rate increases due to medical inflation. The lower rates can be "locked in" for up to a year for those who apply before the rate increase deadline. The full line of IMG products include:
